Terms and Conditions – Party Hire

Welcome to Petite Blooming Moments. By placing an order with us, you agree to the following Party Hire Terms and Conditions. These Terms may be updated from time to time, and any changes will be posted on this page. It is the customer’s responsibility to review this page periodically.

Quotes

All quotes are valid for 7 days from the date they are sent. All quotes are based upon the information provided to us and may be subject to change.

Order confirmation

All orders must be confirmed in writing. Please check your rental date and order details carefully, as we take no responsibility for any errors or omissions once you have confirmed your final order. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that all party hired items are suitable for their intended use.

Bookings & Payments

Bookings made more than five (5) weeks before the rental date:

Your booking is reserved once a 30% non-refundable booking fee has been paid within 7 days from the quotation sent date. This booking fee secures your rental date and reserves the party hire items. Payments may be made at any time from the date of booking up until five (5) weeks prior to the rental date, when full and final payment is required.

Bookings made five (5) weeks or less before the rental date:

Full payment is required at the time of booking of which 30% is a non-refundable booking fee.

Changes/Amendments

Once a booking has been made, changes may be requested. However, they are not guaranteed and may incur additional charges. Bookings may be transferred to another date within the same calendar year, subject to notice and availability. 

Cancellations

For bookings cancelled two weeks or less prior to the rental date, no refund will be issued. Cancellations made more than two weeks prior to the rental date will be refunded, less the 30% non-refundable booking fee.

Deliveries, Set – Up, Pack – Down & Collections

We do not offer delivery, set-up, pack-down, or collection services for party hire items unless we are also providing florals for your event or wedding.

Customer Pick – Up & Return

Pick-up and return are by appointment only from Everleigh, Greenbank.

  • Customer pick – up or return must be completed in a single trip.
  • If items are not returned by the agreed return date, the customer will be charged 100% of your original hire fee for each additional day.
  • To extend the hire period, please contact us as early as possible. Extensions are subject to availability and additional charges.

Proof of Identity

A valid photo ID (for example, a current driver’s licence) is required at the time of pick up (or delivery, if applicable) for all bookings.

You’ll also be required to sign our Conditions of Hire document before taking any party hire items.

Party Hire Item Return Conditions

All party hire items are expected to be returned or ready for collection in the same condition as they were provided. Please do not dispose of any batteries, instruction cards, boxes, or packaging supplied with the party hire items.

Additional Cleaning Charges

All party hire items are to be returned dry and clean, including any batteries, instruction cards, boxes, or packaging. If items are returned unclean, additional cleaning charges will apply. A separate invoice will be emailed with photos (if applicable). This would be payable in 7 days.

Cleaning charges:

  • Minor cleaning: $20–$50
  • Stained or heavily soiled items: Cleaning fee or full replacement cost, whichever applies

Damaged & Missing Party Hire Items

After pick-up or delivery, any damages or missing/stolen party hire items will be repaired or replaced at the sole expense of the customer. This includes any batteries, boxes or packaging that come with the party hire items. A separate invoice will be emailed to the customer for the repair or replacement costs at the replacement value, including photos (if applicable) once inspected upon return. This would be payable in 7 days.

Customer Responsibilities

The customer is responsible for the party hire item(s):
1. Customer Pick-Up
From the moment the customer pick – up the party hire items until they are returned to Petite Blooming
Moments.
2. If Petite Blooming Moments provides florals, responsibility begins:
(a) When items are delivered to the venue, or
(b) When delivered to another agreed drop off location, or
(c) When the customer pick – up the equipment

And ends when party hire items are collected by Petite Blooming Moments or returned by the customer.

Notes:
– The customer must inform Petite Blooming Moments if someone else will be collecting or returning the party hire items on their behalf. All responsibilities outlined above will still apply to the customer.
– Please allow some time to inspect all party hire items upon pick‑up or delivery. Any issues must be reported immediately, including photos. Once the items are accepted, you are responsible for their care.
– It is the customer’s responsibility to load their vehicle at pick‑up and unload it at the time of return. If you are unable to load or unload the items yourself, please ensure you bring adequate assistance.
– When picking up items, the customer must ensure they have a suitable vehicle. To minimise the risk of damage to our products and/or your vehicle, please ensure you have ropes/tie‑downs and blankets as required.

Petite Blooming Moments Responsibilities & Liability

We will ensure all items are clean, safe, and in good working condition at the time of hire. If any item is found to be faulty or unsafe, please notify us immediately so that a replacement can be arranged. While we make every effort to fulfil your booking, availability cannot be guaranteed if items become damaged or unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, we will provide a suitable alternative or issue a full refund.

Petite Blooming Moments shall not be liable for any loss or damage caused to any person, property, animal, or things whatsoever arising from the use of the equipment hereby hired.
